ILLEGAL GARAGE was started unofficially in 2001.
It was when I was told by the local government that I could no longer operate an
"illegal garage" from my home.
At the time I was busy building my own personal cars for fun which was 100%
legal.
But according to the local government I was working on "customers" cars.
What can you do?
You cannot fight the government.
So as a joke I went and got a business license with the name "illegal-garage".
Ever since I have been getting chuckles and laughter from people I do
business with.
It is a name no one forgets.
And I hope for good reasons.
The goal here at illegal garage is to treat every customer like they are our only
customer.
Boutique style as we call it.
We want to help the customer with every detail of the car from start to finish
whether or not they buy parts from us
or from another source.
After all having fun is what counts the most.
We are budget tuners as well, so focusing on the most expensive items is not on
our agenda
Getting the most bang for the buck is.
Customer satisfaction and communication is our number one priority.
